    To provide supportive services and resources to girls, young mothers and families in disadvantaged communities by establishing programs and workshops that promote healthy parenting, health, and family well-being and preventive measures to decrease the rate of teen pregnancy.

    • Founder and Innovator of the VISA Program/ Victory In Sustaining Abstinence (VISA) is designed to empower girls in Franklin County to provide preventive services for youth and supportive services for pregnant and parenting teens between the ages of 9-21 years of age. The objective of the program is to educate girls and female adolescence grades 5 th-8 th on reproductive health by promoting healthy options, risk associated with unprotected sex, and continued efforts of lowering the teen pregnancy rate. The VISA program is a series of modules facilitated by women professionals that either licensed/certified on the subject matter and teach from personal experiences on the various topics that are discussed in these workshops. The VISA program was created to be informative and fun by encouraging engagement and interaction from program participate while allowing participants to receive reward points as they progress through this program. Throughout the duration of modules program participants are able to obtain credits (incentives) which will be applied to their VISA cards, provided by Women Just Like Me.
