Piedmont, CA

About Us

Large tutoring agencies experience high turnover rates, most often employing tutors in their career “gap years” and struggling to retain experienced educators, who see the discrepancy between billing rates and their own pay. The 50/50 Promise means Camy’s Tutoring is serious about addressing disparities in educational access.

The business model will not only allow the company to retain the best talent, as owners will share in the surplus and in decision making, but will also enable the co-op to espouse the values of equity and collaborative learning right through to its core.
