    Description

Volunteer Opportunity: Support Moms (Light Cleaning, Meal Support, Child Care)

    About Us

Time-In Moms is a new nonprofit launched in August 2025, dedicated to giving moms a much-needed break by providing support through three essential services: light cleaning, meal prep, and child care. Our mission is rooted in community, empathy, and trust—helping moms feel cared for and supported during their busiest seasons of life.

    The Opportunity

We are seeking caring, reliable women volunteers who want to support other women in a tangible, meaningful way. Volunteers work in 90-minute shifts (we call them “Time-Ins”) on weekends between 12:30–6:30 PM, and always serve in pairs for support and safety. You don’t need to commit every weekend—just when you’re available. You can choose one 90 minute shift.

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Provide light cleaning, meal support, or child care (depending on the mom’s needs for that Time-In).
    • Offer encouragement and empathy, treating each family as if they were your own loved ones.
    • Make a direct impact by giving moms the space and relief they often don’t get.

    Responsibilities

    • Arrive on time and complete the assigned 90-minute Time-In.
    • Work collaboratively with your volunteer partner.
    • Follow safety guidelines and respect family confidentiality.
    • Be dependable and communicate promptly if availability changes.

    Qualifications

    • Women age 18+ who want to support other moms and families.
    • Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate.
    • Able to commit to at least one Time-In per month (though more is welcome).
    • Comfortable with light cleaning, meal support, or child care.
    • Willing to complete an application, background check, and volunteer orientation.

    Why Volunteer?

    • Be part of a community of women helping women.
    • Offer moms the support and relief they truly need.
    • Serve in short, manageable shifts that fit into your schedule.
    • Make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in Raleigh.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you join us! Please apply through Idealist. Once we receive your application, we’ll follow up with the next steps, including a background check and next steps.

Together, we can give moms the time-in they deserve.
