Description
Captains will help determine a locally-appropriate combination of door-to-door, street, and event circulating, and will coordinate shifts for volunteers. Captains will have to handle petitions carefully, keeping them under lock and key, and should arrange to have an assistant to dispatch volunteers and keep track of petitions when they are away from home during the circulation period.
Responsibilities Include:
- Directing a local team of 30-50 canvassers and phone bank volunteers
- Recruiting regularly, scheduling and confirming shifts
- "Cut turf” and generate walk and call sheets
- Report data and participate in regular calls and meetings
We need multiple captains in every region of Missouri.
