    Description

    About Wisdom Financial Ministries

Money is the #1 cause of stress for families and the primary barrier preventing people from living out their calling. at Wisdom Financial Ministries, we are changing that narrative.

We are a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to equipping believers with the practical skills and spiritual mindset to move from financial stress to faithful stewardship. We don’t just teach "how to budget"; we teach the theology of wealth combined with modern tools—moving people from an "Ownership" mindset to a "Stewardship" mindset.

We are currently developing "The Wisdom of Wealth," a 6-week digital curriculum (LMS/Moodle-based) designed to modernize financial education for believers and nonbelievers.

    The Opportunity

We are seeking passionate, strategic thinkers to join our Board of Directors. This is an exciting time to join: we are pivoting from concept to execution with the launch of our new digital platform. We need leaders who can help us scale our impact, guide our strategic vision, and ensure we remain fiscally and spiritually sound.

    What We Are Looking For

We are looking for candidates who possess a strong Christian faith and a passion for financial literacy. While we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, we are specifically seeking expertise in the following areas to round out the board:

    • Educational Technology / eLearning: Experience with Moodle, LMS platforms, or digital curriculum design.
    • Marketing & Digital Growth: Experience scaling digital products or nonprofits.
    • Fundraising & Development: Experience with donor relations or grant writing.
    • Finance/Accounting: CPA or non-profit financial oversight experience.

    Board Responsibilities

    • Governance: Provide oversight for the organization’s mission, finances, and legal compliance.
    • Strategy: Partner with the Executive Director to set long-term goals and evaluate the success of our programs (specifically the new digital curriculum).
    • Advocacy: serve as an ambassador for the ministry, helping to open doors with churches and donors.

    Time Commitment

    • One virtual board meeting per quarter (90 minutes).
    • Occasional committee work or consultation based on your area of expertise (1-2 hours/month).
    • A 2-year renewable term.

    Why Join Us?

    • Kingdom Impact: Directly help families break the chains of debt and fund their God-given callings.
    • Innovation: Be part of a ministry that is leveraging modern tech to teach biblical wisdom.
    • Community: Join a team of like-minded professionals dedicated to stewardship.
