    Description

    CCID is leveraging planned radio MoUs and community listening groups to deliver short audio dramas and 30–60s radio spots on SRHR (consent, contraception incl. EC, HIV/STIs, period dignity, GBV help-seeking). The intern will lead end-to-end production to broadcast spec and coordinate airings.

    • Facilitate writers’ rooms with girls’ club reps; finalize scripts and spots.
    • Cast/direct voice actors; run table-reads and sensitivity checks.
    • Record clean dialogue (portable kit/booth); capture foley/ambience.
    • Edit, mix, master to broadcast spec; prepare cue sheets/spot clocks.
    • Liaise with stations to schedule and track airings; version content for social/IVR.

    Diploma/Undergraduate in Audio Production, Mass Communication, Theatre/Drama, or related. Audio storytelling, radio production, directing voice talent, sound editing/mixing. Portfolio or samples (podcasts, radio spots, dramas). Experience with community media or youth programming is an asset.

    • Audacity/REAPER/Adobe Audition; mic technique; noise control.
    • Story editing, casting, directing; strong organization and time management.
    • Comfort with multilingual content (EN/FR/Pidgin); consent-based portrayal.

    Production of short audio dramas and radio spots; delivery to broadcast spec; station coordination.
