    What do Hospice Volunteers do?

    Our volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Depending on your interests and skills, you can contribute in many ways, including:

    • Companionship: Spending time with patients, listening to their stories, reading to them, or simply being present.
    • Respite Care: Providing a break for family caregivers, allowing them time for errands, appointments, or self-care.
    • Emotional Support: Offering a listening ear and a comforting presence to patients and their families.
    • Practical Assistance: Running errands, light housekeeping, or assisting with administrative tasks.
    • Creative Expression: Sharing your musical talents, artistic abilities, or other creative skills.
    • Pet Therapy: (If applicable) Sharing the love and comfort of your certified therapy animal.
