Board of Directors Opportunity at MBIC: Strengthening Our Foundation for Future Growth

As MBIC navigates through a period of significant transformation and challenges, including the restructuring of federal funding, we are seeking dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors. Your expertise in fundraising, grants, networking, and program development will be pivotal as we aim to fortify our funding base and expand our impact in the community.

Expanded Service Offerings and Funding Challenges: MBIC offers a broad range of services designed to empower individuals with cognitive challenges. In response to shifts in federal funding and budget constraints, we are prioritizing strategic fundraising and resource development to ensure the sustainability of our programs. This makes roles focused on financial stewardship and resource mobilization more crucial than ever.

Ideal Candidate Profile: We are looking for committed leaders who are:

    • Fundraising Innovators: Experts in identifying and securing funding opportunities that ensure long-term sustainability.
    • Grant Strategists: Skilled in navigating the grant landscape, writing proposals, and securing funds from diverse sources.
    • Network Expanders: Well-connected professionals who can leverage their networks to build partnerships and secure essential resources.
    • Program Developers: Visionaries who can oversee the expansion and refinement of our service offerings to meet evolving community needs.

Specific Roles and Opportunities: Joining MBIC’s board means you will actively contribute to:

    • Strategic Fundraising and Financial Planning: Creating and implementing strategies to increase funding and financial health.
    • Grant Acquisition and Management: Identifying grant opportunities and managing applications to maximize funding success.
    • Partnership Development: Expanding our network of supporters and collaborators to enhance program capabilities and reach.
    • Program Oversight and Development: Guiding the adaptation and growth of our programs to ensure they effectively meet community needs.

Our Commitment: MBIC is committed to adapting and thriving, even in challenging financial climates. By joining our Board, you will play a crucial role in steering the organization towards a stable and impactful future, ensuring that we continue to provide vital services to our community.

Get Involved: If you possess the skills and drive to make a substantial impact in a leading nonprofit organization, please reach out to Tammiko Bess at tammiko@mbiclubhouse.org. Your leadership can help pave the way for MBIC’s continued success and resilience.
