    About Us:Dream Factory of Brooklyn is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to granting dreams to children with critical and chronic illnesses. We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Director of Marketing to join our team and help us amplify our mission, increase awareness, and broaden our reach.

    Role Overview:As the Volunteer Director of Marketing, you will play an integral role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. Your primary responsibility will be managing and expanding our online presence across social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement. You will also lead a small team of volunteers to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives. Your success will lie in understanding our audience, creating compelling content, driving engagement, and effectively managing your team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and insights about our target audience.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with Dream Factory's mission and goals.
    • Create, curate, and oversee engaging content, including text, videos, graphics, and images for digital platforms.
    • Manage and monitor social media accounts, tracking performance metrics to assess the impact of campaigns.
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure goals are met.
    • Establish a consistent content schedule, ensuring timely and relevant posts across all platforms.
    • Collaborate with other team members to support fundraising and event marketing initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or related roles.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Analytical skills to evaluate data, track metrics, and adjust strategies as needed.

    Additional Information:

    • This is a board-level position, and a background check will be required.
