    Description

    ASALS WATERS is a community-based organization dedicated to addressing water, sanitation, and climate challenges in Kenya’s Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs). This festive season, we are seeking fundraising volunteers to help mobilize resources, engage supporters, and raise awareness about our vital programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Promote ASALS WATERS’ mission and projects through social media, email, and community outreach.
    • Encourage supporters to donate through our secure website and donation buttons.
    • Assist in organizing virtual or local fundraising initiatives.
    • Track and report volunteer fundraising activities and outcomes.
    • Communicate regularly with the ASALS WATERS team to ensure alignment with goals and messaging.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for water, sanitation, and climate resilience issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to engage and motivate supporters online and offline.
    • Basic digital literacy (email, social media, web navigation).
    • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

    Other Details:

    • This is a remote volunteering opportunity, open to individuals worldwide.
    • Flexible hours - commitment can range from a few hours per week to more, depending on availability.
    • Volunteers will gain experience in fundraising, community engagement, and international development.
    • All efforts directly support life-changing projects in vulnerable ASAL communities.
