    Description

    This program provides free tax preparation assistance to low and middle-income individuals of all ages, with special attention given to seniors (60 ). It is sponsored by AARP Foundation, IRS, CA State Board of Equalization and Contra Costa County. Tax Counselors and trained and certified each year and provide service in approximately 20 sites located throughout Contra Costa County.

    Help the team that promotes new volunteer recruitment in July through October and promotes Tax-Aide service sites November through March. Voluteers help with copy writing, for newspapers, senior center newsletters and brochures. Help indentify additional outreach opportunities for promotion. Help produce on site promotional materials.
