Be a Mentor for a young parent or young adult!

Become a mentor for one of our young parents or young adults living on our campus! Mentors providesupportandencouragementtochildrenandfamiliesserved by PCHAS. Working alongside staff, volunteers may be asked to support and encourage clients through specific one-time or ongoing activities, such as providing homework assistance,assistinginthepreparationofameal,orbeingaone-on-onebuddy.

Volunteers are essential to the children and families served by PCHAS because they provide additional encouragement and support for their future success. Volunteers must attend and/or completerequiredtrainingtoparticipateinthevariousprogramsatPCHAS.Thesetrainingsincludea one-hour in-person training facilitated by the manager of volunteers. Authorized volunteers must complete additional steps, including online child abuse training (as required by state governments).
