    Description

    • Plan, organize, and lead sports practices and training sessions to develop athletes’ skills, fitness, and teamwork.
    • Develop game strategies, drills, and conditioning programs tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe sporting environment that emphasizes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
    • Monitor and evaluate athlete performance, providing constructive feedback and creating individualized development plans.
    • Coordinate participation in competitions, tournaments, and community events, managing logistics and preparation.
    • Mentor and supervise assistant coaches, volunteers, and support staff, ensuring effective teamwork and program delivery.
    • Communicate with athletes, parents/guardians, and program staff regarding progress, expectations, and program updates.
    • Stay updated on coaching best practices, safety standards, and sport-specific regulations to maintain high program quality.

    Who We're Looking For:

    • Minimum age: 12
    • Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software
    • Complete training prior to start date
    • Can commit to the shift schedule

    Bonus Skills:

    • Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
    • Previous volunteer experience
