    Leadership Strategy Advisor: Help Entrepreneurs Strengthen Their Teams (Remote)

    Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) is looking for experienced leadership professionals who want to volunteer their time and support a small business owner in a focused, one-on-one advising relationship. If you have several years of experience in leadership development, executive coaching, team building, organizational strategy, or management, and feel confident helping someone think through leadership decisions and next steps, this role is a strong fit.

    You will be matched with an entrepreneur whose leadership needs align with your background, and you will meet virtually on a schedule that works for both of you. If you want to share your expertise and make a direct impact by helping small businesses develop strong leaders and high-performing teams, becoming a PCV Volunteer Leadership Advisor is a meaningful place to start.

    Mentor Requirements

    Mentors should have several years of relevant professional experience, be confident talking through business decisions and offering steady guidance, live in the United States, and be able to meet virtually on a consistent schedule while maintaining a supportive and professional advising relationship.

    Role Overview

    This role is for professionals who want to use their experience to support a small business owner through focused, one-on-one advising.

    • Volunteer commitment averages three to five hours per month.
    • All meetings are virtual and scheduled directly between you and the business owner.
    • PCV handles matching, onboarding materials, and ongoing program support.
    • Each advising engagement typically lasts a few months, with the option to continue or be re-matched.
    • Your time is spent meeting with the entrepreneur, preparing for conversations, and following up on agreed-upon next steps.
