Join our Feeding San Diego Kids Team to pack and deliver much needed weekend food packs to 195 San Diego kids and their families!
Starting on January 6th, International Relief Teams volunteers will meet every Tuesday - until May 19th (excluding holidays) - to pack 195 individual food packs for 195 children at 4 local elementary schools. After the food packs are made, delivery volunteers will drop them to the 4 local elementary schools. Your hard work ensures families receive food assistance every weekend and kids are ready to learn on Mondays!

Volunteers will meet at the International Relief Teams office at 3545 Camino del Rio S in Mission Valley. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and make a difference in a child’s life - one food pack at a time. Join our teams!
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Signing Up: All volunteers must complete the International Relief Teams Waiver and a Background Check.
Time Commitment: Packing volunteers must be committed to at least 80% of the Tuesdays from 9-10:30 am from January 6th to May 19th, 2026. Delivery volunteers must be committed to one delivery day a month. (Food packs will not be packed or delivered during holidays or school closure days.)
Qualifications: All volunteers must be able to lift at least 10 pounds. (Thursday delivery volunteers must have a personal vehicle that can transport 60-100 food packs.
Training & Support: Volunteers will receive a Welcome email once they sign up with paperwork to be completed. An Orientation will be held on the first day of packing to meet your fellow volunteers!
