The Program provides meals to homebound senior citizens. Each volunteer is assigned to a specific route, or routes (which must be followed and completed) in either Clearwater, Dunedin, St. Pete, or Largo.
- Volunteers deliver meals to Clients.
- Volunteers interact with both Clients, Site Coordinator, & Staff in a friendly and respectful manner. Volunteers follow all policies and procedures, and maintains client privacy at all times.
- Volunteers keep in contact with the Site Coordinator throughout their shift as appropriate.
- They must also communicate the client's needs and or problems to Neighborly staff as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license, appropriate automobile insurance, and a reliable clean automobile.
- Must be able to use tablet or smartphone
- Must work well with people.
- Must be able to deliver meals and climb stairs as needed.
