    Description

    Join our community based coffee plantation project and be part of a sustainable agricultural movement! Volunteers will work alongside local farmers in cultivating, maintaining, and expanding our eco-friendly coffee farm, while supporting initiatives that enhance carbon sequestration and local economic empowerment. What You’ll Do:

    • Participate in daily coffee farm activities (planting, weeding, harvesting, drying).
    • Learn and apply organic farming techniques.
    • Help set up shade tree nurseries for coffee plants to improve soil quality and biodiversity.
    • Support awareness workshops for local farmers on climate-smart agriculture.
    • Document and share stories, photos, and updates for TACCF’s online platforms.

    What You’ll Gain:

    Directions

    The project is based in Arusha, along Tengeru Road, near the foothills of Mount Meru. This area is known for its rich volcanic soil, scenic landscapes, and thriving coffee-growing communities. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work in a peaceful natural environment surrounded by farms and forested hills. The site is easily accessible by local transport from Arusha city center (about 20 minutes away) and is close to the Tengeru Agricultural College, a well-known hub for sustainable farming practices.
