    Front-end Team Lead

    About Us:

    The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

    We’re looking for a Front-end Team Lead to join our growing team!

    What you’ll do:

    • Collaborate with other front end developers to come up with great app and service solutions
    • Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices.
    • Develop software in languages including React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
    • Work with external and internal APIs.
    • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
    • Work with unit, integration, and end to end testing.
    • Work in parallel with designers to optimize and convert mockups and designs into solid React systems.

    What we’re looking for:

    • 4+ professional years of experience with programming languages/frameworks: Node and React.js.
    • Exposure to design patterns and application architecture
    • Ability to work and mentor a group of developers on standards or best practices.
    • Candidate must have experience doing hands on development building an application from the ground up
    • Knowing React Native is a plus.
