    Description

The Press Liaison serves as the voice and bridge between We Are Artistic and the broader public, ensuring that our youth-driven stories of creativity, resilience, and advocacy reach the audiences they deserve. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of art to spark change and is passionate about amplifying youth voices through strategic media outreach.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Craft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and story pitches that highlight our initiatives, events, and impact
    • Build and nurture relationships with local and regional journalists, arts reporters, and community media outlets
    • Coordinate interviews, press coverage, and public statements in collaboration with youth leaders and directors
    • Monitor media trends and identify timely opportunities to spotlight our work
    • Ensure all communications reflect our values of inclusivity, empowerment, and artistic expression

    Ideal Qualities:

    • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a flair for emotionally resonant messaging
    • Confidence in professional outreach and relationship-building
    • Deep respect for youth leadership and lived experience
    • Passion for arts advocacy, social justice, and community-building

This role is more than publicity—it's about making sure the world hears what young artists have to say. If you’re ready to help us turn creativity into visibility, we’d love to have you on our team.
