Title: One Day Volunteer Resume Writer volunteer opportunity!

About the Role

Chrysalis is seeking dedicated, compassionate volunteers to support our clients on their pathway to employment by assisting with resume writing and editing. As a Resume Writer Volunteer, you’ll work directly with clients to help them tell their story, highlight their skills, and feel confident in their job search.

Your support directly contributes to someone securing meaningful employment and moving toward stability and self-sufficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Help clients create, revise, or update their resumes
• Ask guiding questions to draw out skills, experience, and accomplishments
• Provide encouragement, structure, and clarity throughout the resume-building process
• Use Chrysalis resume templates and tools (additional training will be provided from 8-8:45AM)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to give supportive, strengths-based feedback
• Comfort working with diverse populations
• Reliability and commitment to your selected shift
• Human resources or recruiter previous experience a plus but not required
