Children’s Health Literacy & Youth Mental Health Program
Join our mission to empower the next generation with knowledge about holistic health and mental well-being! We are a dedicated, peer-to-peer holistic health literacy charity launching a critical new program for a worldwide audience.
Human Health Project – Children’s Health Literacy Program
The Human Health Project is launching a groundbreaking Children’s Health Literacy Program aimed at empowering young people ages 0–25 with essential knowledge in mental health, healthcare navigation, and diet & nutrition. We are seeking experienced, mission-driven Program Directors (Volunteer) to help lead, shape, and oversee this multi-age, multi-topic initiative as it expands into schools, youth organizations, and community programs.
As a Program Director, you will help guide the development and implementation of educational resources tailored to three key age groups: early childhood (0–5), school-age youth and adolescents (6–17), and young adults (18–25). Each group faces distinct challenges—from emotional identification and early nutrition habits, to rising adolescent mental health needs, to the transition into independent healthcare decision-making. Your leadership will ensure our program effectively addresses these needs while remaining evidence-based, engaging, and accessible.
What You’ll Do:
Lead strategic planning, development, and coordination of program activities
Oversee the creation and rollout of educational materials across age groups
Manage cross-functional teams (writers, researchers, designers, animators, outreach teams)
Support partnership-building with schools, nonprofits, and children’s health organizations
Ensure program quality, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals
Monitor progress, evaluate impact, and recommend improvements
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in program management, education, public health, child development, or related fields
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage teams and coordinate complex, multi-part projects
Commitment to child and youth health, health literacy, and equitable access to education
Passion for building innovative, community-centered programs
This is a meaningful opportunity to help lead a program that will give children and young adults the tools they need to understand their health, make informed decisions, and build lifelong healthy habits.
Lead with purpose. Apply today to volunteer as a Program Director with the Human Health Project!
