    Business casual dress. This is a semi-formal event. No jeans, athletic wear, shorts, strapless tops, hats, or sneakers.

    Description

    Legendary Broadway composers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim transformed musical theater with their unforgettable melodies and groundbreaking storytelling. From Webber’s soaring ballads in Phantom of the Opera and Evita to Sondheim’s razor-sharp wit in Sweeney Todd and Into the Woods, this concert is a celebration of Broadway at its best. Don’t miss this electrifying night of collaboration with Missouri State’s Department of Musical Theatre in a concert of favorite songs from two of Broadway’s true giants.

    The Symphony will need volunteers to help with the following:

    • Taking pictures for Springfield Symphony attendees at our step-and repeat photo opportunity
    • Setting up food and drink at intermission reception for VIP donors and sponsors
    • Attending marketing tables pre-concert
    • Tearing down marketing signage
    • Assisting staff members with additional concert needs

    All volunteers should arrive by 5:00pm. Volunteering will last until roughly 10:00pm. If you have any questions or concerns prior to volunteering, feel free to reach out to the Springfield Symphony Patron & Events Manager at events@springfieldmosymphony.org.
