    Social Media Manager

    We are seeking a creative and passionate volunteer to join our team as a Social Media Manager. This role is pivotal in expanding our digital presence and reaching a broader audience to raise awareness about our mission and activities. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and fostering an online community that celebrates the impact of music therapy on seniors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content across our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. This includes creating posts, graphics, and stories that highlight our events, programs, and success stories.
    • Community Engagement: Interact with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner. Foster relationships with followers and encourage community participation.
    • Strategy Development: Collaborate with our team to develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our mission and goals. Analyze engagement metrics to refine content and improve outreach.
    • Event Promotion: Assist in promoting our shows and community events through creative social media campaigns that drive attendance and participation.
    • Platform Management: Monitor and maintain our social media accounts, ensuring all content is in line with our brand voice and mission.

    Qualifications

    • Passion for Music and Community Service: A genuine interest in music therapy and a commitment to enhancing the lives of senior citizens.
    • Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to produce visually appealing and engaging content.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with a knack for storytelling and community engagement.
    • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with major social media platforms and current trends. Experience with social media management tools is a plus.
    • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to the needs of the organization.
