    The Challenge You Help Reverse

Forty years ago, family farmers in Kenya’s rural and dryland regions harvested an average of 2,500 kilos per acre each year. Today, those same farmers barely produce 300 kilos per acre in rural areas and 200 kilos per acre in drylands.

Degraded land, climate shocks, and pests have forced thousands of families to abandon farming. Without modern farming skills, access to markets, or resilience strategies, they remain trapped in hunger, poverty, and joblessness.

The Agripreneurs Pathway Program exists to reverse this decline—restoring yields, rebuilding livelihoods, and recreating agriculture-related jobs.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Partnerships Ambassador, you will be the vital link connecting this program with the donors and partners farmers urgently need.

    • Identify and research potential supporters: corporations, foundations, government agencies, nonprofits, faith groups, businesses, and individuals.
    • Compile and maintain accurate contact lists of these prospective partners.
    • Connect donors or volunteers with Civicom Aid to secure essential funding, tools, training, and skills support.

    Expected Outcomes

    Through your efforts, you will:

    Qualifications

    • Interest in rural or dryland community development and family farming.
    • Strong communication and networking skills.
    • Open to all—no prior experience required.

    Support from Civicom Aid

    • Guidance: Training materials and inspiring success stories.
    • Collaboration: Direct support from the CEO and program team.
    • Impact Tracking: Regular updates showing how your efforts are changing lives.
