    This is not a compensation role. This is a Board Member Volunteer "Fundraising Chair" position up to 5 hours a month. If selected, the serving term is 2 years.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated Fundraiser to join our Nonprofit Board. The Fundraising Chair is a volunteer who will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's mission and goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize databases and market research to identify potential donors
    • Manage donor relationships using software like Donor Box
    • Conduct research on potential donors and grant opportunities
    • Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders
    • Assist in public relations efforts related to fundraising activities
    • Collaborate with the team on fundraising campaigns and events

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in fundraising or a related field is preferred
    • Proficiency in using fundraising software like Raiser's Edge, Donor Box, etc.
    • Strong relationship management skills
    • Excellent research and grant writing abilities
    • Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • This position is 5 hours a month volunteer
