    Dream Keepers Inc is seeking volunteer leaders to join our impactful board of directors. Operating since 2016, Dream Keepers has empowered, networked, and mentored hundreds of girls and women throughout the Milwaukee and Houston area. We are continually working towards our mission: - "To build positive lifelong relationships and provide opportunities to help girls grow into women that will succeed in multiple areas of their lives."

    We are looking to partner with professionals that are willing to contribute their skills, expertise, values, and qualities to guide Dream Keepers closer to our missionby providing management advice on the strategic direction the organization should follow.

    Goals: Specific goals for this year include creating and implementing a budget and fundraising plan, developing a program implementation strategy, and increasing the company's online presence.

    Expectations: Board members are actively involved in organizational governance and are expected to attend monthly board meetings, participate in at least one board committee, make a personal financial contribution, raise at least $300 annually and manage at least one donor or community partner relationship.

    Skills: The board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with accounting, human resource, legal, and media expertise, as well as those connected to the local workforce development agency, foundations, educational institutes, and communities of color.

    Commitment: Board members are expected to serve on the board for a minimum of two years.
