Our mission is to foster financial literacy, personal growth, and community integration for those who need it most.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Fundraising and Development Coordinator with a Doctorate degree to lead our fundraising efforts and contribute to the long-term sustainability of IFWF. This volunteer role is vital in expanding our donor base, securing funding for key programs, and ensuring the continued success of our mission.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with IFWF’s mission and long-term goals.
    • Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors, while identifying and engaging potential new donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
    • Campaign Management: Design, plan, and execute fundraising campaigns, including annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving initiatives.
    • Grant Writing: Research and identify grant opportunities; write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and other entities.
    • Event Planning: Coordinate and oversee fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to increase awareness and raise funds for IFWF’s programs.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on fundraising performance, analyzing data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Board of Directors, Executive Team, and program staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational needs and priorities.
    • Marketing and Outreach: Develop fundraising materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content, to effectively communicate the impact of donor contributions.
    • Compliance: Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with ethical standards, legal requirements, and best practices in nonprofit fundraising.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Doctorate degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Experience: Proven experience in fundraising, development, or philanthropy, with a successful track record of securing major gifts and managing donor relationships.
    • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to craft persuasive proposals, manage complex projects, and engage diverse stakeholders.
    • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fundraising principles, donor cultivation, and nonprofit financial management.
    • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a passion for making a difference. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

    Benefits:

    • Professional Prestige: Elevate your professional standing by leading fundraising efforts for a respected international nonprofit.
    • Networking: Connect with high-profile donors, influential leaders, and industry experts in the nonprofit sector.
    • Impact: Play a crucial role in securing the resources needed to empower vulnerable communities and drive meaningful change.
