Community Outreach & Media Relations Volunteer

Leigha’s Girls is a nonprofit organization rooted in empowerment, mentorship, and growth. Our mission is to help girls bloom where they’re planted — and we’re ready to expand our impact through powerful community connections.

We’re seeking a passionate and outgoing Community Outreach Volunteer to help us spread awareness, build partnerships, and connect our organization with local businesses, media outlets, and the heart of our community. 🌿

This role is perfect for someone who loves networking, storytelling, and creating meaningful collaborations that make a difference.

🌻 Responsibilities:

• Reach out to local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to explore partnerships, collaborations, or sponsorship opportunities (preferably free or in-kind).
• Contact local news outlets, radio stations, and online platforms to share Leigha’s Girls’ story and events.
• Represent our organization with professionalism, positivity, and purpose.
• Maintain a list of community contacts, follow-ups, and outreach progress.
• Work closely with the Executive Director to align outreach goals with organizational initiatives.

🦋 Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident making phone calls, sending outreach emails, and networking.
• Passionate about youth empowerment and community impact.
• Organized, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Previous outreach, marketing, PR, or nonprofit experience is a plus but not required.

🕰️ Commitment Details:

• Schedule: Flexible — you can work remotely on your own time.
• Estimated Time: 4–6 hours per week.
• Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment preferred.
• Location: Remote with occasional local community visits (Las Vegas area).
