Location: Southern California (LA County & Inland Empire)

    Time Commitment Options:

    • Flexible, project-based (5–10 hours/month)

Are you a photographer, videographer, graphic designer, editor, or creative technician passionate about culture, community, and storytelling? Join our Creative Team and help shape the visual heartbeat of Diaspora Peoples’ Place — the organization behind The Peoples Marketplace and the Sumood Series.

Our creative volunteers document, design, and elevate the powerful cultural moments that unfold in our spaces. You’ll support mission-driven gatherings that uplift diaspora communities, honor lived experience, and build pathways for healing, joy, and resistance.

This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio, collaborate with mission-aligned creatives, and contribute your craft to events grounded in justice, culture, and community care.

    • Design graphics for events, announcements, and digital storytelling
    • Support sound setup, audio checks, and live event recording
    • Assist with lighting, on-site content capture, or media workflow
    • Collaborate with our production and media leads to maintain a cohesive visual identity
