    About Abinchi International

    Abinchi International is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to nutrition education, sustainable farming and feeding programs, and sponsoring girls’ education. Our work serves communities in Ghana and the United States, with a strong foundation in service, dignity, and impact.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help us raise funds, build donor relationships, and support meaningful campaigns that directly impact women, children, and families. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about service, storytelling, and mobilizing community support for a cause that matters.

    Responsibilities

    • Support planning and execution of fundraising campaigns (online and community-based)
    • Assist with donor outreach (email, WhatsApp, social media, phone follow-ups)
    • Help coordinate seasonal and faith-based campaigns (e.g., Ramadan, back-to-school, feeding programs)
    • Identify potential fundraising ideas, partnerships, and community sponsors
    • Track basic fundraising activities and results
    • Collaborate with the Abinchi leadership and content team to align messaging
    • Help promote donation drives and events across platforms

    Qualifications

    • Passion for nonprofit work, service, and community upliftment
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Organized and dependable with follow-through
    • Comfortable using Google Docs/Sheets and basic digital tools
    • Experience with fundraising, sales, community organizing, or outreach is a plus (not required)
    • Comfortable working with culturally respectful and faith-aligned messaging
    • Willingness to learn and grow with the organization
