    Description

    Tiny Cat Animal Rescue is seeking a Director of Development to lead our fundraising, partnerships, and communications efforts to generate the financial and community support necessary to sustain and grow the organization. This role oversees fundraising, grants, donor stewardship, public messaging, partnerships, and volunteer recruitment initiatives to ensure the organization has the financial and community support necessary to operate and grow responsibly. This role supervises the Grants Coordinator, Fundraising & Donor Relations Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, and Outreach Coordinator, and works closely with the Executive Director to align growth efforts with organizational priorities.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop and lead overall fundraising and revenue strategy
    • Oversee grant research, submissions, and reporting
    • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and donor initiatives
    • Build and maintain donor and corporate partnerships
    • Oversee social media and public messaging to support growth
    • Identify new funding opportunities and strategic partnerships
    • Guide outreach initiatives and sponsorship development
    • Support volunteer recruitment and engagement initiatives
    • Track revenue goals and partnership performance
    • Ensure consistent, professional public communication

    Ideal Candidate

    • Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or advancement
    • Strategic and organized, with strong writing skills
    • Comfortable setting goals and tracking progress
    • Collaborative, organized, and mission-driven
    • Strong relationship-building instincts
    • Sound judgment and ability to work collaboratively

    Commitment

    • Approximately 2–5 hours per week, flexible and remote-friendly
