    Description

    Purpose of the Role

    The Fundraising & Donor Development Team helps ensure The Cat Sanctuary has the resources it needs to care for cats. Volunteers work together to support campaigns, donor relations, and community outreach, helping make sure every cat receives food, medical care, and a safe, enriching environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and assist with fundraising campaigns (online, events, and community initiatives)
    • Help with donor communications, thank-you notes, and recognition efforts
    • Support research on grants, sponsors, and community partnerships
    • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new fundraising ideas
    • Assist with event logistics and promotion
    • Track campaign results and provide feedback to leadership

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Creative and collaborative — able to contribute ideas for campaigns and events
    • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
    • Comfortable reaching out to supporters or local businesses
    • Passion for animal welfare and commitment to The Cat Sanctuary’s mission
