Join us on February 28 at Lopez Urban Farm!
Plant native trees and discover the hidden world beneath your feet at the farm. We’ll begin with a native tree planting activity, then continue with our Soil Chronicles workshop, a sensory and storytelling experience about soil and compost. You’ll touch, smell, and observe compost, explore how nutrient cycles, water, and care keep soil healthy, and collaborate with the group to co-create a short film that captures your discoveries.
Come explore, have fun, and see how healthy soil nurtures life!
*Lunch will be provided, along with all the tools needed for this experience.
