    Description

    Mindfulness for Littles Program Assistant

    Our Mindfulness for Littles class is back at the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center! We will be teaching 4-7 year olds mindfulness practices like emotional regulation, nature connection, yoga, and more, and we need your help!

    Essence volunteer program assistants provide hands-on support to instructors and participants during mindfulness programs.

    Duties and roles include:

    • Prepping materials

    • Passing out materials

    • Assisting children when help is needed for things like arts and crafts projects

    • Assisting the instructor in encouraging participation from the kids

    • Helping with setup and breakdown for programs

    • Being a good steward of Essence’s values of inclusive, kind, patient, and safe childcare

    PLEASE NOTE: A background check is required for this volunteer position.
