    Description

End Isolation and Build Connection for Seniors

Seniors First and the Project Connect program aims to help seniors connect with their community through technology. We've actively engaged seniors by providing fun and educational experiences using the Claris Companion Tablet. Our clients can participate in weekly Co-Ed mixers, Bible Study, Bingo, Health and Wellness presentations, Meditation, Art Classes, and more. They can also enjoy games, Tubi TV, and Movies on the tablet. Additionally, we provide access to local news and weather and the Orange County Library, where they can check out electronic or audiobooks. It also provides specific resources for seniors, including AARP and Senior Resource Alliance.

    1 shift available:

    • Provide a senior with a tablet to use to connect with the community, friends, family and teach them to use it. Bring and end to isolation for seniors: 10:00 to 11:45 EST
