    Description

    WeGo Together for Kids, Northwestern Medicine and the Northern Illinois Food Bank host a monthly Mobile Rx food distribution at Timber Lake Apartments (1209 Kings Cir, West Chicago, IL 60185 ). This distribution provides individuals with healthy food items from each of the major food groups. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks: registration, set up, distributing food, clean up. Being bilingual in Spanish & English is helpful but not required.

    • Arrive at 2:15pm for brief orientation and set up
    • Dress comfortably and for the weather (we work rain or shine)
    • We serve 2-4:30pm and then clean up. You should be done by 4:45ish.
    • Please bring a full charged cell phone. I'll need at least 2 volunteers to assist with our online check in.
