Interested in making a positive impact on your community that will last years? Sign-up to join Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and Faith In Place to plant 130 native trees and add to the urban tree canopy in the East Warren neighborhood! This public event brings people of all backgrounds together to care for our shared home. We’ll begin with a brief program highlighting how diverse faith traditions understand and honor our relationship with the Earth, followed by a community tree planting. With your help, the trees we plant will bring the benefits of cleaner air, carbon mitigation, and stormwater retention to Indianapolis communities. Please plan to arrive a bit early to allow time for parking, checking-in, and project orientation.

Neighborhood: East Warren is a long-established neighborhood on the east side of Indianapolis, shaped by generations of families with deep roots. Developed largely after World War II, it reflects working- and middle-class history and strong neighborhood pride.
Fun Fact: Much of East Warren was farmland into the mid-1900s, and some streets still follow old farm boundaries.
