Transport Volunteers Stand By Volunteers Needed every day!

We're looking for volunteers who can be available to help with things ranging from rides to vet visits, picking up and releasing dogs from the shelter (YAY!!!), delivering supplies, doing temperament tests to see if we can pull a dog from a shelter, etc. This may seem like the least helpful, but actually our stand-by’s always save us! We need you! You give us the days and times you are available and we will add you to a list if something comes up (dog walk, vet visit, shelter dog pick up to save them from being killed) that day- you will be the first one we call.

This helps us reach out to volunteers with availability that day instead of calling our entire volunteer list. If there is a day, half a day, or even a few hours you can volunteer to be placed on a "call in case of an emergency" list, let us know! This can be for any of the above, and almost always requires some driving. Keep in mind if you are wanting to help transport dogs from shelters you need a car big enough to fit the dog and possibly a crate. We try very hard to plan things in advance, but if there is a last-minute opportunity to save a life, get a dog adopted, or a foster emergency, it helps to have a handful of people we reach out to first!
