    Description

    Change An Educators’ Life

Ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of teachers and students across Ukraine, in just one hour per week?

ENGin for Educators (ENGin4EDU) is a unique program that strives to address a root cause of Ukrainian students' struggles with learning English - teachers who are not confident English speakers themselves. By matching English-fluent educators with Ukrainian educators seeking to improve their English, ENGin4EDU have created a collaborative, creative experience that fosters mutual professional growth, centered on sharing experiences and exchanging global education insights. By supporting educators, we create a ripple effect - for every teacher empowered by our program, we impact the generations of students who will join their classrooms over their careers.

    How Does It Work?

    • Meet weekly for 1 hour one-on-one video chats for 6 months
      • March - May 2026: Follow ENGin4EDU curriculum to engage in insightful discussions related to education trends, teaching methodologies, classroom challenges, and more.
      • June - August 2026: Direct your conversations however you prefer. Explore topics of shared interest while continuing to practice conversational English with your paired educator.
    • Connect with other volunteers in our online community and by attending optional virtual gatherings for all ENGin4EDU participants
    • Access direct support from our team through our dedicated program manager

    Who Are We Looking For?

    • Must be 21 or older and fluent in English (No knowledge of Ukrainian is required!)
    • Current or retired educator with full-time experience teaching in the US, Canada, the UK, or Australia, ideally in a K-12 or college/university setting or experience in teacher training, curriculum development, or education leadership
    • Basic proficiency with online video conferencing
    • Able to commit 1 hour/week for 6 months from March - August 2026
      • Time can be regularly scheduled or flexible week to week
