Social Media Creator/Ambassador

Job Description

We’re seeking a volunteer Social Media Ambassador that needs community hours or just simply wants to help a great cause! An ideal candidate is a passionate community member and active social media user, giving friends and followers an inside look at Soul Tea Foundation through TikTok, Instagram Stories, Reels, YouTube Shorts and more. This is your chance to take your social media talent to the next level by assisting us to create engaging content making a significant impact in the nonprofit community.

Hours per month: Approximately 10-20 hours

Hourly Wage: N/A

SMAs will perform the following tasks:

• Have a public account on Instagram, YouTube and/or TikTok, and list that you are an SMA in your bio(s)
• Willingness to log on to Soul Tea Foundation's social media accounts to upload footage
• Assist in building a content schedule and calendar
• Flex those creative muscles to post relevant content through a scheduled calendar
• Assist in taking videos of events/interviews
• Assist in editing videos to be posted
• Engage with Soul Tea Foundation social media content
• Respond within 1 day to all emails and report hours
• Attend monthly social media committee meetings (in person or zoom)

Required Qualifications:

• Interest in social media platforms and trends
• Time management skills (SMAs will need to track their own work and submit hours)
• Willingness to appear in social media content
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively
• Energetic with a desire to contribute creative, fresh ideas to grow Soul Tea Foundation's online presence
• Passionate about community service and making a difference

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven digital storytelling skills using photos, memes and vertical videos
• Existing, active social media accounts with a variety of content
