    Description

Raise the Voices, a human rights organization founded in 2019, is seeking volunteers in Maryland to support advocacy efforts for Bill S.935, introduced by Senator Chris Van Hollen.

The bill aims to halt U.S. defense exports to the UAE until it can be verified that these resources are not being used to support the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which have been widely reported to commit serious human rights violations in Sudan.

We are calling on Maryland constituents to help urge Senator Angela Alsobrooks to support this critical legislation and stand for accountability and human dignity.
