Ministry Volunteer Job Description
Position: Chrysolite Church of Christ Ministries Corporation Volunteer
Reporting to: Pastor Thomas H. Brooks, Jr.
Purpose: To serve the mission and vision of Chrysolite Church of Christ Ministries Corporation by assisting in the Chrysolite Church of Christ Ministries Corporation through dedicated, compassionate, and unpaid service. This role offers a life-changing opportunity to connect with people and use your God-given gifts to make a difference in our community.
Key responsibilities
- Serve during services and special events. This may include preparing materials, assisting attendees, or managing check-in processes.
- Assist with ministry tasks. Aid in organizing and facilitating ministry-specific activities, such as small group discussions, Bible studies, or community outreach efforts.
- Build relationships. Engage with ministry members, visitors, and fellow volunteers to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Perform administrative duties. Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, such as making fund raising & donation campaigns, prospect phone calls, sending emails, outside field prospecting/distributing marketing material to businesses and door-to-door homeowners or preparing for weekly gatherings.
- Set up and tear down. Help with the physical preparation and cleanup of ministry spaces before and after events or services.
Time commitment
