As a Social Media Volunteer, you’ll help us tell meaningful stories, connect with communities, and promote programs that empower mental wellness and belonging for immigrants, students, and families worldwide.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with CNPAF’s mission and outreach goals.
    • Create, edit, and share original content (posts, graphics, videos, and stories) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WeChat, and LinkedIn.
    • Engage with followers, partners, and community members by responding to comments and initiating thoughtful conversations.
    • Support ongoing campaigns, events, and partnership announcements through creative storytelling.
    • Monitor performance metrics, track engagement trends, and suggest data-informed improvements.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Board and outreach teams to ensure messaging is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and mission-driven.

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing and communication skills in English; Mandarin fluency is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WeChat, LinkedIn, YouTube).
    • Creative mindset and basic design or video editing experience (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools).
    • Interest in mental health awareness, cross-cultural dialogue, and nonprofit work.
    • Collaborative spirit, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn.

    Bonus Skills:

    • Knowledge of social media analytics, SEO, or community engagement strategies.
    • Experience in bilingual content creation or multicultural communications.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on experience in social media strategy for a nonprofit organization.
    • Opportunities to contribute to real-world impact on mental health awareness and immigrant communities.
    • Mentorship from CNPAF’s leadership team and potential recommendation letters for outstanding contributors.
    • A supportive, mission-driven environment where compassion meets creativity.
