Volunteer Opportunity: Grant Writer for Children’s Mission in Uganda

Children Mission Charity Organization is a U.S.-based, volunteer‑run organization dedicated to educating and feeding vulnerable children in Southwest Uganda. Our first school is growing rapidly, and with more than 250 students relying on us for daily meals and quality education, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Grant Writer to join us in this life‑changing work.

    About the Role

We are looking for someone who can come alongside our team and help us secure grant funding from companies, foundations, and organizations that share our heart for children, education, and community transformation. Your work will directly support:

    • Completing construction on our school, including the boys’ dormitory
    • Strengthening our operating budget so we can pay teachers and staff
    • Purchasing food to provide three meals a day for our students
    • Sponsoring our top class as they transition to secondary school next year

    Who We’re Looking For

We would love to partner with someone who:

    • Has experience writing or managing grants
    • Understands nonprofit funding strategies
    • Is passionate about helping vulnerable children thrive
    • Wants to use their skills and talents to make a tangible impact
    • Feels called to support a mission that is changing lives every day

    Why Your Help Matters

As a volunteer‑driven organization, we rely on the generosity and expertise of people who believe in this mission. Your contribution will help us provide stability, nourishment, education, and hope to children who deserve every opportunity to flourish.

If you feel led to help meet this need, we would be grateful to connect with you.

Thank you for your consideration and for believing in the power of education to transform lives.
