    Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community?

    We are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to become Friendly Visitors for Holocaust survivors living in the Nassau County area.

    Right now, we have a survivor who lives in East Meadow, NY that we are trying to match with for friendly visiting.

    As a Friendly Visitor Volunteer, you'll make regular visits to a local Holocaust survivor (weekly or biweekly with a phone call in between). Volunteers provide companionship, engage in conversation and lend a listening ear. You'll have the opportunity to develop a personal connection and contribute to the well-being and quality of life for a member of this special community.

    Must be able to make a 6 month commitment.
