    Commitment Details:
    Occasional travel throughout Wisconsin Region to facilitate recruitment of advocates and training. (Red Cross vehicles available for use, pending motor vehicle background check.) Approximately 10-20 hours per month, with flexibility.

    Description

    Empower youth to become changemakers! As an International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Youth Action Campaign Coordinator, you’ll mentor and guide youth teams (ages 13–24) in creating peer-to-peer campaigns that raise awareness about International Humanitarian Law. Your leadership helps inspire the next generation to understand and advocate for humanitarian principles.

    • Recruit & Inspire: Engage youth advocates and build dynamic campaign teams.
    • Coach & Support: Deliver IHL training and guide teams in designing impactful campaigns.
    • Lead with Purpose: Oversee 1–3 teams, ensuring progress and success.
    • Stay Connected: Join monthly calls and report campaign metrics.
    • Champion the Mission: Recommend advocates for the national summit and celebrate their achievements.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong Communicator & Organizer: You can share ideas clearly and keep projects on track.
    • Adaptable & Collaborative: You thrive in changing environments and enjoy working as part of a team.
    • Neutral Presenter: You’re comfortable discussing sensitive topics with fairness and respect.
    • Experienced or Ready to Lead: You’re over 15 or have at least two years of experience with the Youth Action Campaign (YAC).
