    Role Overview

    The Foundation Outreach & Community Volunteer supports Ladyhawk Animal Foundation’s mission to reduce animal suffering and overpopulation through community engagement, donor relations, and outreach initiatives. This role assists with administrative and coordination tasks that help expand the foundation’s impact across the United States and Latin America.

    The volunteer will work closely with the Foundation’s leadership and engaged board members to support ongoing programs and fundraising efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with donor outreach and follow-up communications
    • Support community engagement initiatives and awareness campaigns
    • Help coordinate fundraising events and partnerships
    • Maintain and update donor and contact lists
    • Assist with newsletters, thank-you messages, and campaign communications
    • Support collaboration with shelters, rescue organizations, and veterinary partners
    • Assist with social media content and outreach efforts, as needed
    • Provide general administrative support related to foundation activities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong interest in animal welfare and nonprofit work
    • Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on commitments
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Basic knowledge of Spanish preferred, as the foundation collaborates with partners and communities in both the United States and Latin America; full fluency is not required
    • Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with diverse communities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
