    Description

Join Hunger Free America in our efforts to verify food resources information for the USDA Hunger Hotline!

In this virtual session you'll receive background information, training and support to verify and update listings of food pantries, soup kitchens and SNAP/WIC offices around the country. This information is used to direct callers to our Hunger Hotline to resources. You'll be given unique listings to check, by calling the number and doing web-based research. You are calling organizations that are currently in the Hunger Hotline database and confirming the information we have listed for them. Accurate referrals are a vital part of our work. You'll need a computer, phone and pen and paper for the task.

We encourage you to review the task guide in advance here.
