Description of the Role

The Video Content Specialist will lead the planning, recording, editing, and production of high-quality video content across platforms. This includes promotional campaigns, tutorials, testimonials, and short-form social media content. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and creatively driven, comfortable working behind the camera and in post-production. You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing and communications team to produce engaging, mission-aligned visual content.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video recording sessions, including setup, lighting, and audio
• Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media, website, and campaigns
• Create diverse video formats including promos, tutorials, testimonials, and reels
• Collaborate with marketing to develop video strategies aligned with key initiatives
• Optimize content for platform-specific best practices (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Maintain and manage a structured, accessible video content library
• Ensure brand alignment, storytelling clarity, and high production quality in all outputs
• Incorporate motion graphics, captions, and basic sound design as needed

Required Experience/Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in video production, editing, and post-production
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing tools
• Familiarity with professional video/audio equipment and production techniques
• Strong understanding of storytelling, visual narrative, and pacing
• Basic motion graphics, animation, and color correction skills
• Experience formatting and compressing videos for multiple digital platforms
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Adobe Certified Expert (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Experience with livestreaming or webinar production
• Knowledge of video SEO and metadata optimization
• Familiarity with Frame.io or other video review platforms
