    Description

    United Way of Tarrant County at Mission Arlington - MLK Day of Service

    Join volunteers at the annual MLK Day of Service honoring the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

    Date: Monday, January 19

    Shift time: 10am to 12pm but volunteers are welcome to stay longer. The agency will be providing volunteer opportunities until 7pm.

    Location: Mission Arlington Mission Metroplex – volunteers will check in at the main entrance located at 210 W. South St., Arlington, TX 76010.

    Volunteers Needed: 15

    Volunteer Age Requirement: This opportunity is available to children of all ages with a parent or guardian present. Simply indicate the child’s name and age in the note section of the registration form.

    Volunteer duties: Volunteers will help with the sorting, separating, distributing clothes, food, household items, and furniture, plus any other opportunity which might be available that day.

    Parking: Free street parking is available around the agency.
